Meet Max. This handsome 7-year-old, 57 lb poodle is the whole package. Max is not only beautiful, but also gentle, sweet, and smart. He walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and does great going potty outside. He may need a little encouragement when it’s time to go into his crate, but he settles in quickly once inside. Max gets along well with other dogs and cats, but prefers companions who respect his space and aren’t too pushy or in his face. He’s a curious boy who enjoys calmly exploring new environments and taking everything in at his own pace. He also has a goofy side and enjoys playing with his toys. Max takes treats very gently and absolutely loves peanut butter. He’s the perfect balance of cuddly without being clingy, and he never turns down a good booty scratch.
