About Lloyd

**Lloyd is looking for a new foster or an adopter by March 21st due to his current foster's travels -- Please email foster@phillypaws.org if you are able to provide a place for Lloyd to land and recovery from future surgery!** ------------------------------- Lloyd is a small, scruffy charmer with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At just two-ish years old, this happy-go-lucky guy is full of life, love, and enthusiasm for being your very best friend. Lloyd has gone through a lot of change recently, and now he's facing surgery to repair his right luxating patella (kneecap), followed by about two months of recovery. More than anything, he's looking for stability - a calm, steady home where he can land softly and feel secure while he heals. He's hoping to transition to a new foster home or to an adopter's home by March 21st, and the right setup will make all the difference as he recovers. He's looking for a home ideally pet-free, or with low-energy pets who can be fully separated him during recovery. As much as he loves to play, he'll require strict activity restriction after surgery. A home with easy outdoor access and no stairs (or only minimal unavoidable stairs) will be especially important while he heals. He may be on movement restriction, but his heart is wide open. His former foster shared, "Lloyd is the kind of dog who just wants to be with you. He's incredibly sweet and curious, more interested in connection than treats. Very eager to please!" And it's true - Lloyd's favorite place in the world is right by your side. Lloyd is ready to start his next chapter - one filled with rest, healing, and the comfort of a steady, loving home. Could you be the one to help him heal and get back on his paws? ------------------------------- Dog Friendly?
