About Luffy
Luffy is a small, scruffy gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Described by his previous foster as "curious, friendly, and a total love bug," Luffy approaches life with wide-eyed interest and a wagging tail. Whether he's following his person from room to room or generously handing out kisses, this boy was made to be a built-in best friend! One of Luffy's favorite hobbies is supervising. Whether it's his daily duty of balcony patrol, controlling traffic, or attempting to be his foster's sous chef in the kitchen, he is always finding ways to keep himself busy. Ever vigilant, he considers it his responsibility to alert you if he hears someone nearby, or "match the energy" of a car horn if it has the audacity to beep. Luffy has a playful, sometimes wild-child streak, but he balances it with an affectionate, devoted nature. In addition to being with his people, meals and treats are also his favorite times of the day. And while he can be a little mouthy in his enthusiasm, he redirects easily and is eager to learn. A gent who truly wants to please his people! Luffy previously lived with another dog and cat in foster care and has shown that he can coexist with other pets, but he's also still polishing his manners and sometimes struggles with self-regulation (including humping). So he would thrive either as the star of the show in a single-pet home or with a patient family willing to provide structure, slow introductions, and guidance as he matures. Luffy is looking for a home that will embrace his quirks, continue his training journey, and appreciate his loyal, loving spirit. In return, you'll get a devoted sidekick, security guard, culinary critic, and a best friend who gives the sweetest kisses around! ------------------------------------ This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label. ------------------------------------ This dog is currently located in a PAWS foster home.
