Laney
AvailableLaney is a female Labrador Retriever puppy with a medium build, currently located in Ashville, OH. She is spayed and house trained. While Laney is still young and energetic, she's eager to learn and excited for a family ready to guide her as she grows.
About Laney
Laney came to the rescue with her brother, Morgan, after being left behind by her previous owners. She’s an active, sharp Labrador Retriever puppy—quick to learn and always curious. Currently enrolled in the DASH Prison Program, Laney is picking up her basic commands and already walks well on a leash. She’s housebroken and working on crate manners, though as a puppy, she’ll need continued guidance from her new family. Laney can be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly once she feels safe. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves toys and adventure; she’s also a bit of a climber and can tackle baby gates and low fences. Food and toys can make her protective, which is understandable given her past, but with patience, she’ll grow out of it. She’s still learning how to greet people politely, so a home without very young children is best. Laney has not been tested with cats, but with proper introductions, she may do well. She’s looking for an active family who’s ready to help her thrive and keep up with her puppy energy. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
