About Mabel

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Mabel, a young Labrador Retriever mix with a sweet and affectionate nature. Mabel forms strong bonds with her person and enjoys plenty of attention and playtime. She is thriving in the DASH prison program, where she is learning good manners, reinforcing her house training, and walking beautifully on a leash. Mabel is especially playful, loves toys, and is happy interacting with other dogs in her care. She is currently working on her separation anxiety, so patience and ongoing support will help her feel secure in her new home. Loud noises can make her anxious, but she is making progress in a supportive environment. Because Mabel has not yet been introduced to cats or children, slow and proper introductions are recommended when bringing her into a multi-pet or family household. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
