About Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea came to the rescue with her sister after their owner was no longer able to care for them. She’s a sensitive, gentle soul and her sweet nature really shines through once she feels safe around you. Everything about household living is new to Sweet Pea—she spent her life outside, so she’ll need patient guidance to pick up on potty training and all the basics of indoor life. At first, Sweet Pea is shy and wary of strangers, so expect her to need some time before she truly settles in. As she relaxes, though, she’s warm and affectionate—a genuine sweetheart. The shelter environment is overwhelming for her, so positive reinforcement, quiet spaces, and encouragement will help build her confidence. She’s used to being with other dogs, and while she does best when meeting new canine friends thoughtfully, she previously lived alongside other dogs. If you have pets at home, plan for a careful introduction. Give Sweet Pea room to blossom, and she’ll reward you with loyal companionship. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
