Meet Dug - your calm, loyal companion! Dug is a senior Shepherd/Hound mix weighing about 40 pounds who has truly mastered the art of being the perfect housemate. He's fully house trained and is so trustworthy that he doesn't even need a crate -- he's happy to relax by your side and enjoy the comforts of home. Dug has a gentle, easygoing personality and gets along well with other calm dogs. On walks, Dug is a dream -- he walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out for a little fresh air. He does have prey drive, so no kitties for this boy! While he's mostly a low-energy guy, Dug still enjoys stretching his legs in a fenced yard, and after a little playtime he's happiest curled up beside his people for a cozy nap. He also loves car rides, making him a great buddy for errands or weekend adventures. Dug is the kind of dog who makes life easier -- calm, affectionate, and wonderfully low maintenance.
