Skeeter is a young hound mix, about 10 months old and around 35 pounds of pure sweetness. This adorable boy has a gentle, loving personality and gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets -- people, kids, other dogs, and even cats. This wonderful boy was rescued from Bartow County Shelter at the very last moment together with his friend Stevie. The two boys have formed a special bond and love spending time together, but they can be adopted either separately or as a pair. Skeeter is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up with his people and give lots of kisses. He also loves to play and enjoys running around the backyard with his "brother." Because of that, a fenced-in yard and another playful dog in the home would be a wonderful match for him. Skeeter is a smart young pup, who is currently learning new commands and improving his leash-walking skills every day. He is neutered, microchipped, house trained, and crate trained -- ready to transition smoothly into his forever home.
