Dorothy is an adorable 2 year-old, 17-pound terrier mix from Tijuana! She is full of life, adventurous, and a total sweetheart. If you're looking for a snuggly dog who loves giving kisses to keep you company, she's your girl! Dorothy also loves earning treats, going on walks, and playing with her toys. She is working on her housetraining and is showing lots of improvement with her crate training in a short period of time. She aims to please and works for treats! She is always so thrilled to sniff her way around the city on walks: everyone she passes by notices her puppy-like demeanor and excitement! She minds her own business and does not react to most dogs. She seems content just sniffing around and checking to make sure her person is still there, helping direct her. She is starting to adapt to crate training, and has shown improvement since entering our care. Ideally, she would like to spend all day with her owner if you work from home, or live with another canine companion who can keep her company during the day while you're at work. Dorothy would do best in a home that is able to provide her with structure and ample exercise. She would love to have a doggie friend at home, but would also be just fine spending all day with her human(s). She would do fine in a home with children as long as they don't mind an energetic dog who loves giving and receiving affection. She is so deserving of a forever home where she feels safe and protected and can continue to blossom! Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Spayed and microchipped. Tested for vector-borne illnesses. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
