Kristoff, known as “Meatball” in his foster home due to his silly and sweet personality, is a mellow, curious, and intelligent guy. He was rescued as a stray, but he’s quickly learning how to love life as a house dog. He's estimated to be 1-2yrs old. This pup is a rare gem. He’s amazing on a leash, learns extremely fast, and is food motivated. He is very sensitive (like most Pyrs), and in tune with the emotional state of his household. Kristoff adores other dogs, stuffed toys, cuddles, treats, chew toys, and humans. He loves dogs so much that he cries when he sees them on walks. He plays with the other dog in his foster home multiple times a day. He does well with cats, and shows respect for his cat buddy in his foster home. He also loves to cuddle with humans on the couch. Sometimes he will “guard” his foster parents by sleeping in the doorway of the bedroom. He’s a very loving companion and a very good boy. He doesn't bark too much either. Kristoff does ok while his foster family is away, but he does get a little anxious when left alone sometimes. However, he’s been learning that humans do return after they leave. He’s doing great and getting more confident every day.  This boy doesn’t like crates, but he sleeps through the night on his dog bed or on the floor and is a perfect gentleman in the house, even when alone.  Kristoff is a curious boy who is always looking for his next adventure, so he needs a house with a secure fence. He would do great in a home with other pets.
