About Daisy Dingo
Daisy is a 40-lb Pyr-Akbash mix with a big heart, a free spirit, and a story of resilience. She spent nearly two years surviving on her own outdoors, which earned her the nickname “Daisy Dingo” and gifted her with a few endearing quirks that make her truly one of a kind. Daisy is a medium-to-high energy girl who loves both adventure and downtime. She’s always up for walks, hikes, or hanging out in the yard, and she would thrive in a home with plenty of outdoor space to explore. When it’s time to relax, Daisy is happiest inside—especially curled up on a pillow… preferably your pillow, right by your head. She is fully housebroken and non-destructive in the home. Daisy loves her chew time and happily keeps herself busy with bully sticks and bones, which are some of her favorite treats. Daisy absolutely adores smaller dogs and truly needs a canine companion to play with. She can also live with cats and currently coexists with three—though she may occasionally try to taunt them, she is never aggressive. Daisy is very treat-motivated, food-loving, and famous for her joyful breakfast-and-dinner dance that will make you smile every single day. Because of her past, Daisy can be timid and shy when meeting new people and needs time, patience, and understanding to build trust. She does best in a calm home with kids 12+ who respect boundaries. While she has done well with a newborn in her foster home, young children can be overwhelming for her. Daisy’s biggest work-in-progress is leash manners—she gets very excited on walks and will need continued training, which should be a fun and rewarding experience thanks to her love of treats. Daisy has had a hard life, but she’s ready for her happy ending. She’s looking for a special adopter who will give her patience, consistency, and love—and in return, she’ll give unwavering loyalty, goofy joy, and a lifetime of companionship. Daisy truly deserves the world. To schedule a meet and greet, please send an inquiry and fill out an adoption application, which can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org/adopt Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run. Please keep in mind that we select the best-qualified applicants based on the needs of both the dog and the applicant.
