Meet Elsa! Elsa is an 8-month-old Shepherd/Hound/Pit mix with a spunky spirit and a heart that just needs a little time to shine. This medium-sized girl (expected to be 26–50 lbs full grown) is spayed, house trained, crate trained, and ready to find her forever home. Elsa absolutely loves her toys and outdoor adventures. She thrives when she has space to run and especially enjoys playing with her foster siblings. Because she gains confidence from other dogs, Elsa needs a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog to help her continue building trust and learning the ropes. While Elsa can be nervous at first and takes a little time to warm up to both people and new dogs, she adjusts quickly once properly introduced. With patience and consistency, her sweet personality really begins to blossom. She would do best in a home with older children who can respect her need for space as she settles in. Elsa also does well with cats and would be a wonderful addition to a calm, patient household committed to helping her grow into her best self.
