Meet Tawny! Her story started rough—severe neglect, hunger, and heartbreak when her brother Spike passed away after they were both rescued, skin and bones, from a shelter. She nearly didn’t get her chance either, but Saving Hope Rescue brought her in just before it was too late. Despite all this, Tawny’s spirit has stayed hopeful, and her tail never stops moving. Tawny is healthy now and looking for a place to call home. She gives kisses without hesitation and wants nothing more than to love her humans. She’s up for adventure—always eager to jump in the car for a ride or stretch out with you on the couch for a Netflix binge. Tawny is picky about her dog friends, so she’ll need a home without cats, small dogs, large female dogs, or tiny kids (under 5).
