Elwood is a 1 year old Schnauzer/Yorkie mix (our best guess) weighing 15 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray so his history is unknown. Elwood a the perfect mix of love bug and rambunctious playmate. He's a sweet and happy boy. Lap dog and affectionate. Hyper & playful, likes hands but can be mouthy. Recommend older children that are confident around dogs. Stubborn but treat motivated. High level of separation anxiety-whines loudly when left alone. Housebroken but still marking (neuter 2/19/26). Needs work on his leash skills, likes to spin around in circles. Funny, energetic, happy boy. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review.
