Buddy
AvailableBuddy is a 10-month-old, large male Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Fremont, OH. Energetic and affectionate, he’s already started obedience training and is neutered. His vaccinations are up to date. Buddy’s orthopedic condition means he’ll need a caring adopter committed to supporting him as he grows.
About Buddy
Buddy came to the kennel as a stray and, at just 10 months old, is still full of puppy energy. He loves to be around people and thrives on attention—always ready to show affection. Buddy is lively, boisterous, and has a big heart, but his high energy means he isn’t the best fit for homes with small children. He’s started basic obedience training and walks well on a prong collar, so he’s already getting a good foundation. Right now, Buddy isn’t recommended for homes with other dogs, and it’s unclear how he’d do with cats. Buddy does have a degenerative orthopedic condition that may lead to arthritis as he gets older, though he’s comfortable now and is on joint supplements to help his mobility long term. Running marathons isn’t in his future, but he still enjoys walks and play in moderation. Born July 14, Buddy is a Cancer—a true softie under his bouncy exterior. It’s clear he’ll give his adopter all the love he has. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
