About Rowdy

Rowdy is just over a year old and already tips the scale at 70+ pounds. His first family brought him home expecting a medium-sized Blue Heeler mix, but Rowdy had bigger plans. He outgrew their small apartment, and they realized they couldn't give him the space he needs. Now, Rowdy's settled in with his foster and is showing off how quick he adapts and how eager he is to learn. He's athletic, playful, and focused on pleasing his people—he needs a yard to really be at his best. So far, Rowdy gets along with other dogs and even the foster home's cat, though he plays with a lot of energy and can be rough around the edges, but not aggressive. He's crate trained, hasn't had any accidents inside, and is picking up leash manners quickly. Rowdy is microchipped, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and takes monthly preventatives. Applicants must live within an hour of Fremont, OH. Click apply to start the adoption process.
