About Hulk
PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION HULK IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA. Hulk was found as a stray in Cleveland, Texas during the freeze, skin and bones and struggling to survive. Thankfully he is now safe in rescue, gaining weight, healing, and getting the second chance he deserves. Hulk is an affectionate, loyal 1-year-old boy who loves attention from his people and enjoys long walks. After a good walk, he settles nicely and is happy to relax and lounge around the house. He is potty trained (belly bands work well while he continues polishing up his manners), crate trained, and does well on leash with only mild pulling. Hulk does well with other dogs and would benefit from proper introductions, especially with larger male dogs. He does well with cats and children. He tends to bond closely with men but is friendly with women as well and thrives with clear, confident leadership. Hulk is heartworm positive, which is common among strays in the South. The good news is that he is completing treatment and is on his way to being heartworm negative soon. If you have any questions about his health, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email. Due to a condition called “happy tail,” Hulk’s tail was amputated to prevent further injury and allow proper healing. He has recovered well and is feeling much more comfortable. Hulk is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400. If you’re interested in giving Hulk his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!
