About Minnie
PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION MINNIE IS BEING FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT IS ABLE TO TRAVEL TO IOWA ON ONE OF OUR UPCOMING TRANSPORTS. Minnie is an 8-week-old Lab mix who is already looking for the forever family she deserves. Sadly, she briefly belonged to someone who treated her as disposable and literally threw her over a neighbor’s fence when they decided they didn’t want to deal with a puppy anymore. Thankfully she landed in the right yard, and one of our Texas fosters stepped in to make sure she was safe and cared for while she waits for a better future. Despite such a rough start, Minnie has nothing but love to give. She is a young, spunky, goofy, and very smart puppy who loves everyone she meets. She enjoys playtime outside, chasing around her bigger dog foster siblings, and chewing on her rawhide-free bones or mini milk bones. Minnie already knows “sit” and “go potty,” and she is doing great with crate training and potty training for such a young pup. She walks well on leash and is curious about cats but mainly just wants to play. Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce her to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to her development! Minnie will be adopted under a spay contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of spay. She is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. If you’re interested in giving Minnie her forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!
