About Rooster
Rooster escaped a tough start in a small Oklahoma shelter and is now growing up safe in foster care near Davenport, Iowa. He’s a gentle, affectionate Great Pyrenees mix with a soft white and cream coat, still young and getting used to everything. Rooster is happiest playing with his foster brothers or dozing beside them after, showing off a calm presence that’s rare in puppies his age. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, fitting easily into many family dynamics. Rooster is already house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He’s still figuring out the world, sometimes unsure about how to jump onto things, but you’ll notice his confidence growing every day. Like any young dog, he’ll need continued structure and guidance as he settles into a new home. Rooster is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on monthly preventatives. At just 8 months old, he’s ready to discover the world alongside his future family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
