Taco is a 1-year-old, 11-pound male Chi-Pug mix who recently made his journey from Mexico to the West Coast and he's been an absolute dream since day one. Affectionate, calm, and truly delightful, Taco has adjusted beautifully to suburban life. He enjoys neighborhood walks, cozy cuddle sessions, and curling up to sleep with his foster sisters. Though still a young pup, he's a quick learner who listens well and would thrive with continued obedience training. Taco walks beautifully on leash and has an adorable little prance that turns heads everywhere he goes. People are always surprised to learn he just arrived, he's that well-mannered! At home, he loves being close to his humans and is often found snuggled up with his favorite carrot plushie. He has made great progress with housebreaking, both outside and on pee pads. His forever family will simply need to continue reinforcing the good habits he's already building. Taco also does well when left alone for reasonable periods, he happily relaxes in his bed in the living room. Taco would do well in a quiet, low-key home, but he can also match a moderately active household that balances playtime with downtime. He could thrive as a solo dog as long as he receives plenty of love and attention, or with another friendly dog to show him the ropes. He gets along beautifully with his foster sisters and looks to them for guidance. He would also be fine in a home with respectful children. With his long legs and delicate features, Taco looks like a tiny deer, elegant, gentle, and completely charming. He loves affection and will even try to jump into your arms for extra snuggles. He is truly an angel of a dog and is ready to find a family who will cherish him and give him the wonderful life he deserves. Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Neutered and microchipped. Tested for vector-borne illnesses. Current on flea, tick, and heart worm prevention.
