About Oakley
Oakley is a young, spirited Heinz 57 with a strong Catahoula mix and hints of several other breeds. Currently at 30 pounds, he's expected to grow into a robust dog likely weighing more than 50 pounds. Oakley has already moved between several homes during his short life, but he remains playful and eager to find lasting stability. Housebreaking is a work in progress—he knows what to do, but sometimes still misses the mark. Nights are easy, as he settles quietly in his crate until morning. He’s vaccinated, dewormed, and has all the puppy enthusiasm you’d expect. Oakley runs happily with larger dogs and can chase down a ball or toy without hesitation. An active, inside home with a fully fenced yard suits him best, and apartments are off the list for this guy. He needs a family ready for play and devoted care.
