About Charlie
Update on a Charlie - 3/3/26 Charlie formerly Cotton was adopted as a young pup. A couple lived in an apartment and they have just decided that due to their lifestyle and their time that they’re gone that she’s just not a fit anymore. Here is an update on her personality. She’s really a great dog and when we went to do her shots when she was younger, she was always so calm. We couldn’t believe how good of a dog she was Charlie - DOB: 6/15/25, ~42 pounds Shes a very quiet dog, has never been a barker. Shes potty trained and doesn’t chew on anything besides her own toys. She is very treat/food motivated & knows a bunch of basic commands (sit, stay, come, lay down, hug, etc.). She loves playing with other dogs, but can be timid around new ones. Very cuddly. She loves: walks/hikes, playing with other dogs (1 on 1 preferred), bully sticks, balls, and playing tug o’ war. She can hold her bladder for 8ish hours. She definitely needs a job/ chore on some land or fenced yard. Cons: bad car nausea (could be a puppy thing), hates the crate (but does very well without one - we let her roam the apartment while we’re gone and don’t have any issues). Meet Cotton, she came to us with 5 other siblings. They are adorable and are Great Pyrenees/ Australian Shepherd mix. They were running at large in Westmoreland. They are all sweet and looking for their forever families. Birthday 6/4/25 The adoption fee is $400 which covers spay/neuter, rabies, Bordetella, 4 parvo/distemper vaccines, 2 Lepto vaccines, several rounds of deworming, microchip, and a heartworm test.
