Meet Cortina! Cortina is roughly 1-2 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Cortina is a very energetic dog. She would definitely benefit from an active household. She will require plenty of mental and physical stimulation in order to be happy. Cortina doesn't seem to enjoy being contained in her kennel, and would likely prefer a place with some land for her to roam. She is a fairly independent dog that does not always need to be with her person. Cortina came to HSoP as a stray, so we are not sure what her previous home was like. We do not know how she would do with other dogs, cats, or other animals. We do require a dog intro to be done at HSoP if a potential adopter has another dog in the home. HSoP offers a seven-day foster period with every adoption to ensure it's a good fit for everyone. If you are interested in Cortina, feel free to stop by! Our hours are 2pm - 6pm Monday through Saturday, but our dog kennels close at 5pm and adoptions end at 5:30pm.
