Meet Slenderman! Slenderman is around 3-4 years old. He will be neutered before adoption and microchipped. He is up to date on vaccinations. Slenderman is a big sweetheart. Don't let his terrifyingly long legs and name fool you, he is actually a pretty mellow, friendly guy. He doesn't realize how big he is, and may jump up on you without realizing that he could stand taller than many people! He is a very strong dog and could use some help working on his leash manners. Slenderman can be quite stubborn, but is very food motivated, which should help with his training. He is an athletic dog that would benefit from a more active lifestyle. It can be difficult to determine whether or not a dog is potty trained in a shelter environment, but we believe he is. Slenderman arrived at HSoP as a stray. Due to this, we do not know what his life was like prior to coming to HSoP. We do not know how he does with other dogs, cats, or other animals. We do require a dog intro to be done at HSoP if a potential adopter has another dog in the home. HSoP offers a seven-day foster period with every adoption to ensure it's a good fit for everyone. If you are interested in Slenderman, feel free to stop by! Our hours are 2pm - 6pm Monday through Saturday, but our dog kennels close at 5pm and adoptions end at 5:30pm.
