About Mosho

Seven-year-old Mosho is a friendly, happy Basset Hound who came to rescue with Cleo, his companion, but now finds himself looking for his own home. He gets along well with other dogs his size or larger, but might do best as your only dog since that's likely what would make him happiest. Mosho comes from a home with children. Because he can get excited and jump up, older children or adults are a better match for him—he could easily knock over a small child without meaning to. Mosho knows his way around the kitchen counters a little too well, so his foster is working with him on curbing his counter-surfing habit. He's no stranger to leash walks and rides well in the car, making him a good companion for outings. Mosho is house trained, though learning to use the doggie door has been a challenge. He is crate trained but currently enjoys sleeping on the bed or furniture where allowed. He’s not a match for homes with cats, chickens, or small animals, as he tends not to get along with them. Mosho would be a great fit for a household with older kids or an older couple seeking a cheerful and loving companion. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
