This sweet boy is just about five months old and already stepping into something really special. Oliver is now part of our Paws of Hope program, where he’s beginning his journey toward earning his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. And you can already see it in him: he’s eager, attentive, and so ready to learn. Through our Stripes & Paws training program, Oliver is building confidence, learning structure, and developing the kind of skills that truly set him up for success in a home. We’re talking crate training, socialization, and 20+ commands, but more than that, he’s learning how to trust, how to connect, and how to be a dog again. He’s playful, affectionate, and has that perfect puppy energy balanced with a sweetness that just melts you. The kind of dog who will grow up right alongside you: loyal, steady, and deeply connected. We’re still waiting on his DNA results (rumor has it Corgi, Basset Hound, maybe even a little Shepherd mixed in), but one thing we already know for sure… Oliver is something special. He’s not just looking for a home, he’s looking for his person. Someone to continue what he’s started, to grow with him, and to give him the life he’s been preparing so hard for.
