About Shelton

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Shelton is a sweet and smart pup with a stunning grey coat and endearing personality. He already knows several commands—sit, shake, stay, and down—and loves to play with toys in his kennel to keep himself entertained. Although no one has reclaimed Shelton since he arrived in late February 2026, this playful boy is eager to find a family who will cherish him. At just 10 months old and weighing around 48 pounds, Shelton is up to date on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption, making the transition to his new home even smoother. You are encouraged to visit and meet Shelton in person (run 85, ID #17120) if you're looking for a loyal companion. Please note that meet-and-greets are suggested if you have other pets, as his behavior with children, other animals, or house training status is not known. Shelton is currently available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services in Marietta, GA. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
