Momma Mary is as sweet as they come and always eager to please everyone she meets. She is 20lbs dachshund/chi mix This gentle girl has already been through so much — she was surrendered to the Fresno shelter while pregnant, severely malnourished, and heartbreakingly close to being euthanized. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in and gave her the second chance she so deeply deserved. Mary went on to safely deliver and lovingly raise her eight beautiful puppies. Now that her babies are on their way, it’s finally her turn to be cared for and cherished. She is Potty trained, Affectionate and people-oriented, Gentle and eager to please She may still need a little work with leash training, but with patience and consistency, she’ll blossom quickly — she truly wants to make her person happy. After everything she’s endured, Momma Mary is ready for a forever home filled with love, comfort, and stability. She’s done her job as a devoted mama — now she’s ready to be someone’s beloved baby. She is scheduled to be spayed in March and will be ready for adoption soon.
