Mr Peanut
AvailableMr Peanut is a small, chihuahua-dachshund mix living in Burbank, CA. He’s an adult, neutered male with a short coat. About Mr Peanut
Meet Mr Peanut, a muscular chihuahua-dachshund mix with a big attitude and an even bigger heart. He clocks in at 20 lbs, is about 7 years old, and boasts that great mix of athletic build and true snuggler. He’s house-trained and always enthusiastic for his next walk or hike; this isn’t a dog who wants to be stuck inside. If you have a yard, Mr Peanut is at his happiest—lounging in a sunbeam or exploring every corner on his own time. Inside, he appreciates a comfy dog bed or a spot alongside you for serious nap time. He’d do best with active people who want a buddy and have time for him—being bored or left inside all day isn’t his style. Mr Peanut gets along with other dogs and especially loves Frenchies. His leash manners could use some work—he’s strong and can get reactive toward dogs while out walking, and loud commotion from deliveries or workers can rile him up, especially if other dogs react first. But he's highly food-motivated and responds well to confident training, so a bit of consistent work will go a long way. Always affectionate and ready to play (and destroy any ‘indestructible’ toy you give him), Mr Peanut is a tank in a small package—resilient, tough, but a big softie underneath. He thrives with structure, engagement, and lots of time with his people. Paired with the right owner or family, you’ll get a loyal, clever, and endlessly entertaining companion.
