About Galaxy
Meet Galaxy 11 lbs | Spayed Female | Chiweenie | About 1 year old Galaxy may be a tiny girl, but she has already been through so much - and come out the other side shining brighter than ever. Galaxy came to us from Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center after her family surrendered her and her four babies - Moon, Dusk, Dawn, and Sunset - saying they were moving. Dad was quickly adopted, and we stepped in to help this little mama and her pups. They arrived flea-infested, with overgrown nails and hair loss from constant biting and irritation. Within days, baby Moon landed in ICU with severe pneumonia, and the rest of the family soon began showing symptoms too. While Moon fought bravely on oxygen with a guarded prognosis, Galaxy stayed steady for her babies. Thankfully, with medication and round-the-clock care, everyone pulled through. And now? This little family has fully recovered - and Galaxy is finally ready for a forever home of her own. About Galaxy At just around 1 year old, Galaxy is still a baby herself. She's: 11 lbs of sweetness Spayed & fully vetted Great with dogs, cats, and people Gentle, loving, and eager to please She is, however, a sensitive and slightly insecure little soul. When meeting new people or in new environments, she may try to hide at first. She just needs a little patience and reassurance. Once she feels safe? She completely blossoms. Galaxy becomes the silliest little goofball - zooming around with toys, proudly hoarding socks like treasured trophies, and then melting into you for snuggles. She gives the gentlest kisses and looks at you like you hung the moon. Galaxy has done her job raising her babies. Now it's her turn to be someone's baby. If you're looking for a soft-hearted, loyal companion who just needs a little confidence boost and a lot of love, Galaxy might be your perfect match.
