Meet Rusty. Rusty is a minature poodle. He is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 7 pounds. Rusty is current on all vaccinations, has been neutered and heartworm tested negative. Rusty is new to the rescue (arrived on 2/6). He will need someone who will be patient with him and willing to go at a slow pace so he can learn that he can trust you. Once he knows and trusts you, he LOVES to snuggle with you. He wants to be near his person so someone who is home a lot and someone who needs him as much as he needs them would be wonderful for him. Rusty would do best in a quiet home. He is afraid of loud noises and quick movements, so he would do best in a home without small children. If you are interested in meeting Rusty, he will be at Pet Supplies Plus in Howell (2649 E. Grand River) on Sundays from 11-2 at our Meet and Greet event. It is helpful for you to bring pictures and/or videos of your backyard fenced area. Additionally, if you have another dog, it would be helpful for them to come with you so that we can see the interaction between them.
