Georgie can be timid when meeting new people and may nip if he’s startled or unsure, so he’ll need a patient adopter who understands his needs and will give him the time and space to feel secure. Because of this, a home without young children is best. He does well with other dogs and cats, and would likely enjoy the calm companionship of another mellow pet. Georgie is both crate trained and potty trained, and while he’s not leash-trained, he prefers the comfort of a secure, fenced yard where he can safely explore. This sweet “old man” is the definition of a couch potato—he’s happiest lounging nearby, soaking up the peace and quiet of home life. He doesn’t need much… just a soft place to land, a steady routine, and someone willing to love him exactly as he is.
