Meet Freddy — a 2½-year-old sweetheart with a Chi-weenie dad and a Pom-Shih Tzu mom. With his adorable looks and gentle nature, he’s the perfect little companion waiting for the right home. Freddy came into rescue with his brother, Stuart, who is also available for adoption. They can be adopted together or separately, depending on the best fit for each pup and family. Freddy bonds deeply with his person and loves attention once he feels safe. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people or pets, but with patience and kindness, he truly comes out of his shell. Watching his confidence grow is such a rewarding experience. He is currently working on potty training and making progress with consistency. Freddy will need a family committed to continuing his potty training and helping him build confidence on leash. A steady routine and positive reinforcement will help him continue to thrive. Freddy is up-to-date on vaccines and neutered, so he’s ready to start his next chapter. Because he can be shy at first, we require a meet-and-greet with any current pets to ensure a smooth transition.
