About Winona
Winona is a striking tabby-and-white cat best known for her notable half mustacheāa little quirk that suits her thoughtful personality. She arrived to the rescue fearful and feral, unsure of people, and slow to trust. Over time, with plenty of patience, food, and kindness, sheās made significant progress. Her future family should understand she wonāt be the type of cat to settle in overnight; sheāll need space, time, and gentle encouragement. She will almost certainly stay hidden at first, so a patient adopter is essential. Once she does relax, Winona turns into a gentle companion eager for petsānever demanding, just quietly asking for attention on her terms. She adores food and treats, particularly lickable snacks, and enjoys lounging in sunny spots, snuggling with other cats, and the occasional romp with a catnip toy. She gets along well with cats and is happiest in a home with at least one feline friend, as their company helps her feel safe. Although she prefers not to be picked up, she enjoys affectionate petting and has excellent litter box habits. Winona is fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, parasite-treated, and current on vaccinations. She recently had a dental, so her teeth are in great shape. She requires an indoor-only home with no declawing. Potential adopters can visit her daily from 1ā5pm in Faribault, MN. She isnāt in a rush for attention but, for the right person, sheāll be a wonderful, quietly loyal presence. Your new best friend is just one click away.
