Meet Betty! This 1 1/2 year old looks more like an alien 👽 than a dog, but she’s awkwardly adorable. The head of a Shih Tzu, the tall skinny body and longer legs of a Yorkie or poodle or something else. She was a matted mess and looks even tinier and more awkward shaved down. But she’s a total happy sweetheart, craves attention, and a fun and cuddly little companion. She thinks she’s a cat and loves to climb up high and perch on your shoulder or the back of the couch. She’s only 8.5lbs, has wavy non-shedding hair when it grows out, and has been spayed, updated on shots and is ready for a home. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
