Hi, I’m Sheila! I’m a 6-month-old wirehaired Dachshund/Beagle mix with an adorable scruffy face and the softest, sweetest eyes. I came from a high-kill shelter in Texas, but now I’m safe and being fostered in Albion, Michigan while I wait for my forever family. I’m more of a couch potato than a party girl. My favorite place to be is right next to my person — or even better, in your arms! I absolutely love being carried around and would happily go everywhere with you if I could. I can take a minute to warm up in new situations, but once I feel safe, I’m incredibly loving and will shower you with affection. I’m great with kids, wonderful with other dogs, and I tolerate cats just fine. I’m housebroken and have nice, easy house manners. I truly just want to be someone’s little shadow and best friend. I’m fully vetted — spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. My adoption fee is $450.
