Hi, I’m Blue! I’m a 1-year-old male Catahoula Leopard Dog weighing about 28 pounds, and I’m a sweet, gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. I came to rescue from a high-kill shelter in Mississippi, where I was placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space after being there longer than most. Thankfully, I was given a second chance — and I’m making the most of it. I’m currently being fostered in Monroe, Michigan. My foster mom says I’m a sweet little boy who loves being outside, especially with my foster brother. I haven’t had a single accident in her home and have wonderful house manners. I absolutely love to chew on toys — the more the better! I truly want to love and be loved. I’m still figuring out exactly how to show it, but I try, and every day I grow a little braver. I’ve done wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and I’m good with cats, too! I would thrive in a patient home willing to continue building my confidence and showing me that the world isn’t so scary. I will come neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives.
