Hi, I’m Fox! I’m a 2-year-old Cairn/Wheaten Terrier mix weighing about 25 pounds, and I’ve got that adorable scruffy terrier look paired with a playful, happy personality. I came to rescue from a high-kill shelter in Texas, and now I’m being fostered in Grand Rapids, Michigan while I wait for my forever family and a fresh start of my own. I’m a sweet, fun-loving guy who is happiest when I’m with my people. I’ll happily follow you from room to room and stay close by your side. I even follow closely outdoors, just keeping an eye on my person. I enjoy running around the yard, exploring, and then stretching out (my signature move is laying flat with my back legs kicked out behind me like a little frog — it’s pretty cute!). I do well with other dogs, especially females and calmer companions, and I share my space nicely. I am fully vetted — neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, as well as heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. I’m smart, food-motivated, and respond well to direction, which makes me eager to learn and easy to work with. I walk nicely on a leash and would love regular walks or little adventures with my person.
