About Cookie
Meet Cookie, a beautiful 8-month-old Husky and German Shepherd mix searching for her forever home in Falmouth, ME. Cookie was born in foster care along with her siblings and has already been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all her vaccines. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her next chapter. Expect Cookie to be a large dog, likely reaching 70+ lbs once fully grown, and her medium coat is a blend of apricot, beige, and black—she really got the best features from both breeds. Cookie is a healthy, lively puppy who thrives on play and adventure. She gets along well with other dogs in her foster home and would enjoy a canine buddy or could also be happy as the center of attention. While not cat-tested, she’d likely do fine with a confident cat willing to put up with puppy energy. Cookie is still learning how to be a well-mannered dog, so her new family needs to be ready for plenty of training and puppy antics. Her intelligence and eagerness to please make her a quick study, but she will need patience and consistency. A securely fenced yard is essential—a nod to her Husky lineage, which is known for curiosity and escape skills. Cookie would be happiest in a home experienced with Huskies and German Shepherds or families willing to put in the work to help her thrive. She’s not yet house trained and will do best with kids 6 and up who can appreciate her size and teach her boundaries. Cookie’s personality is as lovely as her appearance. What are you waiting for?
