FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Gilbert! Gilbert is a 2-year-old, 12 lb Chihuahua mix with a HUGE personality packed into a tiny body. This little guy is absolutely hilarious ~ a total goofball who keeps everyone around him smiling! Gilbert is super sweet, spunky, playful, and incredibly friendly. He loves other dogs, enjoys playing with canine buddies, and is social and outgoing with people. He’s active and always up for an adventure, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, a weekend outing, or just zooming around the yard with friends. He does have a good amount of energy and can be bouncy and silly, but he’s also treat-motivated and able to focus when it counts. With continued guidance and structure, he’ll thrive. Because of his enthusiastic play style, we’d recommend a home without very young children — older, dog-savvy kids (around 8+) who can handle a lively little dog would likely be a great fit. Gilbert is just plain fun. He’s happy, nutty in the best way, full of charm, and always ready to make you laugh. If you’re looking for a social, adventurous sidekick who brings the party wherever he goes, Gilbert is your guy! Gilbert is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
