Zuriel is a 13-week-old Shepherd mix (best guess!) with a sleek all-black coat and one adorable grey paw. This 13-lb bundle of joy is expected to grow into a medium-sized girl (26-60 lbs) and is already showing off her brave, curious spirit. Zuriel is outgoing, playful, and incredibly sweet. She loves a good game of tug-of-war with her brother and brings lots of happy puppy energy wherever she goes. She's vocal during playtime but otherwise settles well and doesn't bark or whine for long periods when left alone. She's still working on her house-training cues but is doing well going potty outside. Zuriel isn't crate-trained just yet, though she does fine once she's guided inside. She adjusts very well to new environments and settled into her foster home quickly. As a high-energy puppy with working-breed traits, she will thrive in a home committed to regular exercise, play, and continued training. A fenced yard may be beneficial as she grows, though it's still a bit early to know for sure. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
