Zarek is a 13-week-old Shepherd mix (best guess!) with a handsome black coat, a bright white belly, and adorable white paws. Weighing in at 13 pounds, this sweet boy is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog (26-60 lbs). Zarek is a fun, sensitive, and energetic puppy who adjusted very well to his foster home. He's full of playful personality, especially when he lets out his tiny growls to convince his sister to play! He LOVES tug-of-war with rope toys and enjoys chasing games around the couch. Zarek is still working on potty training and is learning how to signal when he needs to go outside. He isn't crate-trained yet, but he settles nicely once placed inside and is making great progress. He's vocal when he wants to play or when he's ready to start the day, but he does not bark or whine for long periods when left alone. As a very puppy-energetic boy with working-breed traits, Zarek will thrive in a home ready to provide consistent training, structure, and plenty of exercise. A fenced yard may be beneficial as he grows, though it's still too early to say for certain.
