Gideon is a young, small Shepherd/Mixed Breed male with a striking black coat. He is not yet altered and is currently cared for by Save-A-Bull rescue. Though still learning the ropes as a puppy, he has already shown great progress and is eager for a loving, active home where he can continue to grow and thrive.

About Gideon

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Gideon – or Deon, as his foster parents call him. He traveled a long way from New Mexico and, while the journey was initially scary, the patience and love from his foster family (including a doggy sibling) helped him settle in and blossom. Gideon is now a bundle of playful energy who loves running, chewing on bones, and napping on the couch. The snow doesn’t faze him, and he's picking up potty training quickly. Gideon is still a puppy who finds joy in the little things—like couch cuddles and goofy walks that make his foster family laugh. He’s got a big heart, an eager spirit for learning, and a wiggle to match his excitement. He hardly ever barks, is gentle with his belongings, and does well with his crate training after a good play session. Gideon's curiosity sometimes gets the best of him, especially with cats—he’s interested in playing but redirects well with guidance. He can be a bit shy around new people and hasn’t spent much time with kids, but his willingness to learn and loving personality shine through. At night, Gideon loves to sleep snuggled up with his foster parents, stretching, rolling around, and sharing kisses. He's looking for someone patient and playful who will continue to help him grow into the best companion, ideally with a dog sibling to learn from. This could be the start of something paw-some.
