Would you just look at this handsome boy? Wouldn't you like to look at his handsome face every day? Chance came to us a month ago so emaciated that we had to feed him tiny meals multiple times daily in order for him to be able to keep food down. He was too thin to get vaccinations or anything done until we had him for a couple of weeks and got some weight on him. He weighed about 16 lbs at his first vet visit and was 23 lbs at his last one. He is on target to stay medium size (on the smaller side of medium – maybe 30-40 lbs at most) when he is full grown. Our vet estimated him to be about 4 months old, so he's about 5-6 months old now. He is growing very slowly, so he may not get that much bigger than he is now. Chance is so sweet – he seems to know he was given a second chance at life and shows his gratitude with love and affection. He plays great with other pups and just has a very nice nature overall.
