About Lil Milo

Meet Lil Milo. The name stuck even though he's not so little anymore; there just happened to be two Milos in the same rescue. Lil Milo and his brother Otis came out of a tough stretch at Macon County Animal Control as young pups. They spent more than a year together in foster care until their foster could only keep one. Otis stayed, and Milo moved on to K9 Fairytale boarding, where he's adjusting and building confidence every day. Lil Milo is about a year and 7 months old, born in April 2023, which makes him an Aries—stubborn but full of energy. Black and white, medium build, and with a moderately long coat, he’s house trained, neutered, and up to date on his shots. He gets along with other dogs but feels most secure with dogs bigger than 50 lbs; he’s still working through a few insecurities around other pets. For the right adopter—patient, kind, maybe with another big, steady dog—Lil Milo will be an incredibly loyal companion. Ready to give a sweet, shy, playful hound mix his real home?
