About Phin

Phin is a female Great Pyrenees puppy from the NFL Litter, named to honor the Miami Dolphins. Born in late November 2025, she and her littermates started life outside in winter conditions until a concerned rescuer intervened, giving them a better shot at healthy, happy futures. These pups weren’t initially adopted out but have landed somewhere better—on the path to homes well-versed in the care, structure, and social needs of giant breeds. Giant breed experience is non-negotiable for adopting Phin. Puppy adopters should be ready for both the financial and time commitment required. Socialization, exercise, crate and potty training form the backbone of a solid start, and a routine rooted in patience and consistency will help this gentle giant become the best version of herself. She’ll need frequent breaks and can’t be crated for long hours. Expect that she’ll require structured obedience training and regular exposure to new experiences, people, and animals—required by her rescue, but also essential to her growth. Early in life, Phin radiates the curiosity, friendliness, and playful energy you'd expect from a Great Pyrenees puppy. Profiles like hers are updated as she grows and new quirks emerge.
