SALLY FEMALE DSH BROWN/BLACK CLASSIC TABBY APPROX. DOB: 08/05/24 Sweet, sweet, sweet, is what this little girl is. She has a very sad beginning to her life. She was trapped as a kitten along with her (maybe) feral mother and siblings as part of a TNR project in Columbus. Columbus Humane accepted all of these kittens and their Mother as part of their "working cat" program. (They allow the cats that are part of their TNR program to be adopted to be outdoor farm cats and cats that will live their lives in warehouses or outdoor businesses "working"). But Sally was still a kitten. She didn't know what was happening to her. When the person who adopted her (hoping to save her life) and "make her an outdoor cat" Sally was terrified. She didn't know where she was or where her mother and siblings were. She ran and ran on that August day...and the woman who adopted her never saw her again. No one saw her...she hid and tried to find her family and just to survive. And then about three miles from where she was released, just days before the big snowstorm was on its way, a family that had been seeing a little brown tabby eating from the bowl on their side porch for weeks decided it was time to bring her inside before the storm. She was trapped but even though she was scared once inside a house she was happy, she was safe and her little paws started kneading....and she began to purr. Sally is so happy to be inside. She is a very petite and gentle little girl. She is quiet and sweet. She purrs and makes biscuits when she is petted, She likes other cats, likes people. If you scratch her back she stands up and she is very grateful to be inside and cozy and safe. The poor little girl spent most of her kittenhood out trying to find enough food an shelter just to stay alive on her own. Now she is safe, and very sweet.
