Meet **Blanc affectionately known as Auggy** in his foster home Auggy is a lovable little guy with a mystery background and a huge heart. His breed is unknown, he’s estimated to be **1–3 years old**, and weighs about **18 pounds** the perfect compact size for both adventures and couch cuddles. Auggy is **almost completely housebroken** and will paw at the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He **sleeps through the night in his crate**, rides **very well in the car**, and is overall **good on leash**, though he can be scared or skittish in new outdoor environments and needs a patient, reassuring handler while he builds confidence. He is **very energetic and playful** he loves toys, playing outside, chew treats, and romping with other dogs. After he burns off his energy, he’s also happy to relax and cuddle with his people. He is **very dog friendly** and would likely do best in a home with a **playful, confident dog** to help him feel secure and show him the routine. Auggy has briefly met a cat and children of various ages while waiting for his long term foster and was very sweet with them. He can be **hesitant with new people** at first and does best with slow, calm introductions. Once he feels safe, his affectionate personality comes through. He is also working on **separation anxiety when left home alone in his crate**. His foster has been helping him build comfort and routine. He is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue building his confidence and give him plenty of playtime, companionship, and snuggles.
