Hershey came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama, but thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, this sweet boy is now on the hunt for his forever home. Could that be with you? Hershey is a young Lab / Beagle / Pit mix (best guess) with a beautiful chocolate and white coat and the most soulful eyes you've ever seen. His mama only weighed 25 pounds. A little about Hershey: Calm and easygoing — very relaxed for a puppy! Wonderful with other dogs Gentle and sweet in all his interactions At the perfect age for training and socialization Fully vetted and already neutered Whether you're a family, a couple, or a solo pet parent, sweet Hershey is ready to be your devoted companion. This very deserving boy is just waiting for someone to change his life forever. Apply today and make Hershey part of your family! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
