About King

King is an 8-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger presence. Weighing in at 85 pounds, he’s every bit the cuddler and thinks he’s a lap dog. After losing his family and companion at a local shelter, King landed in rescue hoping for a real retirement home. He has some lumps and bumps—a larger one was checked by a vet and isn’t currently concerning, though it may regrow if removed. His overall health is solid for his age, and what he really wants now is love, comfort, good meals, and plenty of soft beds and toys. King adores chew toys, bully sticks, and treats—especially those fresh off the grill. He will snuggle up with you every chance he gets and insists on sharing your bed. Despite his years, he still loves to play and hasn’t lost his sweet, loyal spirit. King is friendly with other dogs and genuinely enjoys being around people, including kids. He’s fully house trained, neutered, and vaccinated. He’s currently in Ventura, CA but transport within California can be arranged. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
